Versatile forward joins Dutch side on loan

Dutch forward Vincent van den Berg has joined Go Ahead Eagles in Holland on loan until the end of the season.

Van den Berg (18) joined the Gunners from homeland side Heerenveen in the summer of 2006 and made Arsenal history with a late substitute appearance in Dennis Bergkamp’s testimonial, the first fixture to be played at Emirates Stadium. Happy as a striker, midfielder or link between the two positions, the Dutchman made 15 appearances in Neil Banfield’s reserve side last season and also featured 10 times for Steve Bould’s Under-18s.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Vincent the best of luck with Go Ahead Eagles.
