Wenger - Team work is the key to our success

Emmanuel Adebayor and Cesc Fabregas have stolen the show since their long-awaited comebacks but Arsène Wenger believes the team - not individuals - are responsible for Arsenal's fine form.

Since the Togo striker and the Spanish midfielder returned for last weekend's Premier League game against Manchester City, Arsenal have scored three goals. Fabregas has set them all up and Adebayor has converted all three, two against Man City and that spectacular strike at Villarreal in midweek.

Their form bodes well for Arsenal as they chase silverware at home and abroad but Wenger won't be distracted by the headline makers.

"I think what is important is that the team has a good collective performance," said the manager.

"I am confident we can score goals, we did before anyway. What is important to us this time is that we’re a team who are relying on the quality of our passing and collective play."
