We must find our balance again - Wenger

Arsène Wenger knows he must redress the imbalance in the Arsenal team.

The Frenchman saw his side complete another frustrating goalless afternoon against Sunderland on Saturday. It was Arsenal’s third no-score draw in a row and did little to help their chances of finishing in the Champions League places.

Wenger’s side was criticised earlier in the season for conceding sloppy goals but in their last 10 games they have let in just three. However, at the same time they have failed to hit the net in four of their last six matches. Goalscoring was not considered a problem earlier in the campaign

"It is an interesting challenge,” admitted Wenger. “I believe in the first part of the season we conceded too many goals and scored high. But in the second half of the season, we don't concede anymore but we don't score. So in the final part of the season the challenge is to find a balance between being solid defensively and yet attacking well.”
