Diaby - Emirates win can be a good lesson

Abou Diaby will take heart from Arsenal’s previous meeting with Manchester United when the teams lock horns tonight.

The French midfielder started the Premier League clash at Emirates Stadium in November which Arsenal won 2-1 thanks to Samir Nasri’s brace.

Diaby knows that a Champions League Semi-Final is an entirely different matter but the 22-year-old wants to replicate that winning feeling at Old Trafford.

“From that game we take a good lesson for the game against Man United but tomorrow is different,” said Diaby at his pre-match press conference.

“We just try to be focused and concentrate on the game.

“We intend to play in every competition – the Champions League and the Premier League. We want to go through and win it.”
