Wenger - Nasri is '95 per cent' to return

Samir Nasri is expected to be back in the Arsenal squad for the crucial clash with Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The French midfielder has been missing since the 1-0 win over Wigan on December 6 because of an ankle injury but, according to Arsène Wenger, has a “95 per cent” chance to return against Rafa Benitez’ side. On the other hand, Kolo Toure has a 95 per cent chance of missing the game because of a calf problem while Nicklas Bendtner (knee) is also a doubt.

Theo Walcott (shoulder) and Tomas Rosicky (hamstring tendon) are still out while Eduardo is not injured anymore however he is working his way back to full fitness.

“There is a 95 per cent chance that Nasri will be available against Liverpool and a five per cent chance that Kolo Toure will come back,” Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday.

“We also have a problem with Nicklas Bendtner, who picked up a knee injury in training. But we don’t know 100 per cent on that.”
