Arsenal face Villarreal in Champions League

Arsenal will play Villarreal in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League.

Arsène Wenger's team were paired with the Spanish club when the draw for the last eight of this season's competition took place at Uefa Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday.

Arsenal beat Villarreal en route to the Final in 2006. Kolo Toure scored the only goal of the Semi-Final first leg at Highbury and Jens Lehmann saved a late penalty to secure a goalless draw in the second leg.

Villarreal now have Gunners legend Robert Pires in their ranks plus former Arsenal defender Pascal Cygan.

The first leg of this season's Quarter-Final will take place at El Madrigal on April 7 or 8 with the return leg at Emirates Stadium on April 14 or 15.

If Arsenal advance to the last four of the Champions League they will face Manchester United or Porto.
